Cruise Passengers Still Required to Apply for Health Visa

Despite Level 2 Advisory, Carnival Continues Visits to Nassau

In a recent official reply, the Bahamian government confirmed that its COVID-19 Level 2 status remains unchanged. As a result, cruise passengers are still required to apply for a Bahamas Travel Health Visa and adhere to the established entry regulations.

Despite the ongoing Level 2 advisory, Carnival Cruise Line will continue its scheduled visits to Nassau. However, the cruise line has emphasized the importance of following all health and safety protocols, including wearing masks and practicing social distancing onboard.

As the Bahamas prepares to welcome back cruise ships on July 1st, the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has issued a Level 2 Travel Health Notice for the country. This notice recommends increased caution for travelers due to the moderate level of COVID-19 in the Bahamas.
